Frequently Asked Questions

What is GameLens and how does it work?+

GameLens is an AI-powered sports analytics platform that runs 10,000+ Monte Carlo simulations per game across NFL, NBA, NCAAF, NCAAB, NHL, and MLB. Each prediction is generated by an ensemble of 9 AI models — including ELO ratings, Poisson distribution, logistic regression, and neural networks — analyzing 50+ data points per matchup. The platform compares its projections against live odds from 15+ sportsbooks to identify where lines may be mispriced, giving you a data-backed edge.

How is GameLens different from ChatGPT or other AI tools?+

Generic AI tools like ChatGPT don't have access to real-time sports data, can't run simulations, and don't track live betting lines. When you ask ChatGPT for a pick, you get a generic disclaimer. GameLens is purpose-built for sports analytics — it ingests live injury reports, odds movement, and team performance data, runs probabilistic models, and shows you exactly which models agree and why. Every prediction is transparent and explainable.

How are AI picks different from human handicappers?+

Human handicappers rely on experience and intuition, which introduces emotional bias and inconsistency. GameLens processes thousands of data points per game without bias, runs 10,000 simulations per matchup, and generates predictions across 9 independent models. When models agree, we flag it as high confidence. When they disagree, we tell you that too. You also see the full methodology behind every pick — no black boxes, no "trust me" picks.

What does "Expected Value" mean on a pick?+

Expected Value (EV) measures whether a bet has a mathematical edge over the sportsbook. GameLens calculates EV on every pick by comparing our model's projected probability against the implied probability of the current odds. A positive EV (+EV) means our models see an edge the market hasn't fully priced in. The higher the EV, the larger the potential edge.

How do subscriptions work?+

GameLens offers four tiers based on how many game analyses you get each month. Free gives you 10 game analyses and 25 AI credits to feel the edge before you pay. Starter ($19/mo) includes 100 game analyses and 100 AI credits. Plus ($39/mo) gives you 300 of each plus the Slate Edge Finder to scan a full day's games for the biggest edges. Pro ($59/mo) covers 600 game analyses and 600 AI credits with advanced dashboards and early access to new models. Every tier runs on the same AI engine — you're just choosing how much coverage you need. Running low? A $9.99 Analysis Pack gets you 50 extra game analyses and 75 AI credits anytime, and those never expire.

Can I really trust an AI for sports predictions?+

No model — AI or human — can guarantee wins. What GameLens offers is transparency and process. You can see every model's output, understand why a prediction was made, and evaluate the confidence level yourself. We log every prediction and track performance over time so you can verify our accuracy, not just take our word for it. GameLens is built for informed bettors who want data, not hype.
